Golf Terre di Canossa

Golf Terre di Canossa (Matilde 18-hole course) is set in the heart of the enchanting Terre Matildiche, not far from the city of Reggio nell’Emilia, amidst stunning scenery and surrounded by lands steeped in history and age-old traditions. The 18-hole course designed by the architect Marco Croze, covering a distance of over 6,200 metres, par 72, is situated in this evocative setting. The rolling natural slopes, the vegetation and the Quaresimo stream running through its entire length make for a technical and enthralling game that is also great fun. Matilde Golf is the perfect combination of a stunning scenery, a challenging and aesthetically pleasing course, and hospitality and cuisine, which have made our region famous worldwide. And you can find all this just a few kilometres from the A1 motorway exit and the Reggio nell’Emilia high-speed railway station.

Golf Terre di Canossa (‘Tricolore’ 9-hole course) is situated along the Via Emilia between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena, only minutes away from the historic centre and motorway exits of these two cities. The 9-hole par 29 golf course of 1,382 metres, with two par 4s and seven par 3s, is open to everyone: the special care paid to the newly renovated fairways and greens, which also feature water obstacles, make for an enjoyable and challenging game for both beginners and experienced players. With its floodlit driving range with 15 bays, of which five are covered, a large pitching green, two practice bunkers and a putting green, this establishment is one of the best clubs for those looking to approach golf.
